2014 AICC/FBA Industry Fly-In

Join your peers in the packaging industry as we address our legislators as one industry with one voice. The AICC/FBA 2014 Industry Fly-In will take place Monday and Tuesday, June 9 & 10 in Washington, DC. This year we will again partner with the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) for their 2014 Manufacturing Summit. It is time again to stand united and voice your support for legislation that benefits the domestic manufacturing base, improves the North American competitive climate, puts America back to work and keeps it working!

The 2014 AICC/FBA Industry Washington Fly-in is scheduled to take place immediately prior to the start of 2014 NAM Manufacturing Summit, (June 10-11, 2014).

NAM Manufacturing Summit continues.

Speaker Line Up

House Speaker John Boehner, Representative Phil Roe (R - Tenn) and Senator Rob Portman (R-Ohio) are confirmed and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell invited.

Representative, Phil Roe (R-Tennessee) will be one of the featured speakers at the briefing breakfast. Congressman Roe will outline his legislative plan which offers an alternative to the Affordable Care Act, a topic of key importance to converters, carton and box makers and their suppliers everywhere. Senator Rob Portman (R-Ohio) is also confirmed to speak that morning. Other invited speakers include House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Virginia) and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky).

In the afternoon we have confirmed a meeting with House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) at the Speaker's office at the US Capitol at 1:30 p.m.
