  • Innovator of the Year Competition - Boxmakers
    The next "boxmakers" competition will be held in the fall of 2005

    Entry Form

    The boxmakers competition highlights new ideas or innovations in the areas of production, administration, in-house training, management, marketing and/or customer service operations that have improved the business operations, increased productivity, or provided the solution to a specific problem for AICC corrugator and sheet plant members.

  • Innovator of the Year Competition - Non-Machinery
    The next "non-machinery" competition will be held in the fall of 2006

    Entry Form

    "Non-machinery" is defined as an innovation manufactured by an industry supplier that does not touch the board including, but not limited to: computer systems, software and consulting; linerboards and new substrates; quality and management controls; administrative support; financial services; etc. In other words, any innovation that adds value to the board, and/or a non-corrugating machinery product innovation that may touch the board, and/or a machine that produces production-run converted products.

  • Innovator of the Year Competition - Machinery
    The next "machinery" competition will be held in the fall of 2007

    Entry Form

    The machinery-based competition seeks converting machinery innovations only in the fields of corrugating and related operations, flatbed and rotary diecutting, printing equipment, labeling and laminating, folding/gluing and other related finishing operations. In short, virtually any machine operation in the plant is qualified for entry in this competition.

    "Machinery" is defined as the products and services directly involved in the actual mechanical converting process in a boxplant. "Mechanical" covers all operations that involve direct contact with linerboard, corrugating medium, and/or combined corrugated board, that would include printing, cutting, creasing, scoring, stitching, gluing, etc.
