Strategic Direction Executives' Forum Faculty Meets
The telephone conference call seems to have replaced the good old face to face
chin wag in the faculty lounge. Just the other day Steve and I met by landline
with the people who will be telling you what's happening in the field and what
you can do to grow and prosper, even in these gloomy times. In a nutshell they agree that our position should be proactive- not reactive. It's one thing to want to hunker down in bad times, but it's another to take
advantage of conditions that others simply don't see.

AICC held its 14th International Corrugated Packaging Design Competition – October 5-7, 2009 in Las Vegas, NV. The competition was located in the “brand zone” at PACKEXPO Las Vegas 2009. The entries received great exposure and displayed
some of the best in corrugated packaging design giving PACKEXPO attendees an
exemplary taste of the innovativeness, creativity and design excellence that
AICC members offer to their customers. There were over 120 entries from 30

AICC’s 3nd biennial Designers Lab was held in conjunction with AICC 2009 Annual
Meeting in Las Vegas, NV October 5-7, 2009. There were 16 designers in
