AICC Weighs in on Environmental Issues
The Association of Independent Corrugated Converters (AICC) recently sent
letters with comments on two environmental issues which could affect
independent corrugated converters. AICC was part of a group of 22 industry
sectors which sent a letter on Thursday, August 19, to Jim Laity, Office of
Management & Budget, thanking him for meeting with industry representatives and reminding
him of our concerns about a proposed EPA rule to eliminate the “articles exemption” in the Toxic Release Inventory regulations and thereby require the reporting of
releases from finished products in storage. The proposal would have far-reaching and unintended consequences for many
industry sectors.

AICC-TAPPI 2010 Corrugated Week Exhibit Floor Sells Out!
AICC-TAPPI 2010 Corrugated Week the leading corrugated trade event in North

AICC Announces Advanced Annual Meeting Registrations Exceed Expectations
AICC announces that early registrations for the 2010 Annual Meeting are coming
in strong and have exceeded expectations. “I think the dynamic program, co-location of our meeting with the AICC-TAPPI
Corrugated week supplier trade fair, TAPPI’s Corrugated Division conference are all contributing to the strong registration
numbers” said Steve Young, AICC President. In addition, said Young, Baltimore is an
easily accessible and affordable destination and boasts one of the nation’s cheapest airports.
