Seats are Filling Up for the Designers’ Workshop

Registrations for the AICC Designers’ Workshop are coming in at a brisk pace. Only a few seats remain. This year’s program, held Thursday and Friday, May 17-18, at the Doubletree Hotel in Dallas, Texas, features an opening presentation by George Stroh, Director of Shopper Marketing, Frito-Lay Inc. Mr. Stroh will address the impact of retail and shopper trends on future design and in-store merchandising practices. For more information click here.

The 2007 Corrugated Industry Washington Fly-In

Register now and unite to present industry positions to the elected members of the 110th Congress on Capitol Hill June 18-20, 2007. Join the AICC, the Fibre Box Association, and the American Forest and Paper Association in this effort. This year’s event begins the evening of June 18 with an AICC reception, followed by two days of meetings, appointments and a reception with industry officials and legislators under the dome of the Capitol. Orange County Container Group provides promotional “Leadership” pieces to 2007 Spring Meeting Attendees.

AICC members who attended the 2007 Spring meeting last week in Orlando, FL, received entry guidelines for the 13th International Corrugated Packaging Design Competition in an attractively-designed corrugated promotional piece. Supplied by Orange County Container Group, these were distributed at the closing general session on Saturday, April 21, 2007 to all attendees. Orange County Container Group’s entry was one of the two winning entries in the 2007 Corrugated Bid for the Promo Challenge. The other winning entry, by Tilsner Carton Company, will be mailed out to members in June 2007. For more information click here.
