AICC, in partnership with the Family Enterprise Center of Stetson University, presented the first executive training program in its Independent Business Leadership Series designed to help member companies navigate the challenges of owning and operating an independent business. The Next Generation Executives Forum, held November 12-14th in Orlando, Florida, provided a thought provoking, interactive experience for the executives representing independent corrugated and box plant operations. click here.

AICC recently offered a 90-minute program titled "Sustainability Techniques for the Packaging Industry." The session ws facilitated by Baskar Kotte, President of Quality Systems Enhancement (QSE) of Atlanta, Georgia. Nearly 70 people participated in AICC's sixth audio web conference offered this year. AICC’s Sustainability Conference scheduled Wednesday, January 30 and Thursday, January 31, 2008.

AICC will hold a sustainability conference in Bentonville, Arkansas at the Embassy Suites Hotel. This program is designed for Owners, Executive Staff, Designers and Sales staff. Topics include: What is Sustainability?; Cradle to Gate: Raw Materials, Inks and Additives – What’s Coming in; Implementing a Sustainable Environment in your company; The Wal-Mart Scorecard decoded; Marketgate and its use as a Marketing Tool to your customers; Street Wise Sustainability; Developing Cost Analysis Comparisons for the Customer; and more.
