AICC offers its third Designers’ Workshop for structural designers and sales staff in the corrugated industry, to be held Thursday and Friday, May 15-16, in Chicago, Illinois. The learning goals of the program are to strengthen the designers’ knowledge in raw materials, testing and production processes and to understand the reasonable and practical limitations in moving from design to production. Discussions will be scheduled on developing sustainable packaging initiatives and the current state of the industry. Attendees will also engage in a private tour of the United Parcel Service (UPS) Chicago Area Consolidated Hub (CACH) operations and the UPS Customer Solutions Package Design and Test Lab. click here.

AICC will offer Basic Supervisory & Leadership Training for supervisors and lead persons with less than five years experience to be hosted on March 11-12, 2008, by Sound Packaging LLN of Chandler, Arizona. This 1½-day program gives new supervisors and those more experienced who would like to brush up on their skills an understanding of supervisory principles and practices
