AICC is an association of independents for independents. We focus solely on issues that concern the independent entrepreneurs in the corrugated, folding carton and rigid box industries and provide services to strengthen their bottom line. AICC is the largest organization of corporate members in Corrugated and Paperboard. AICC will continue to leverage our brand to influence industry growth and vitality by being active in industry coalitions – NAM, ICPF, ICCA, CPA. This strengthens our alliances and fosters unity and support of Independents. AICC spearheaded the first Association Summit of packaging industry organizations to provide greater value and continue its interest in co-location and co-branding initiatives for members within the packaging industry. (SuperCorrExpo, Corrugated Week, FBA Safety Awards to name a few.)
AICC membership is a company membership, so all employees of your location and any subsidiaries you may have are eligible to take advantage of all AICC member benefits.
AICC holds two national meetings, each spring and fall that brings together hundreds of independents from throughout North America and the world, for workshops, general sessions and social events. In addition to national meetings, AICC's regional meetings offer an opportunity for you to meet and learn from industry experts and peers closer to home.
Members are also invited to register for any Regional Meeting--connecting you with the leaders of independent companies across the country. Many of these meetings offer our suppliers the opportunity to participate in “What’s New” panel discussions where attendees can hear about the latest innovations in the industry. We have seen record breaking attendance at Regional Meetings this past year with some reaching over 130 registrants.
We also have smaller gatherings just for the leaders of member companies with our CEO Advisory groups. Several Board members have called these groups AICC’s best resource. AICC’s CEO Advisory Groups were formed as a resource for box manufacturing plant CEOs. Members of an industry specific group focus on real world experience, best practices and the pitfalls to avoid. Connecting with other executives, you can better identify opportunities and see how to improve all aspects of your business. You will discuss changes that can positively impact your bottom line. AICC specifically developed this CEO program to give you and your business a higher level of growth and profitability.
AICC members do not have to reinvent the wheel because they have hundreds of other companies they can reach out to for support.
All of our events feature networking opportunities to allow you to make and foster connections with your peers. Many of our events also include golf tournaments, sporting events and social gatherings to encourage conversation and fun.
A favorite benefit of many members is access to AICC Technical Advisor Ralph Young. Ralph has spent his entire corporate career in the forest products industry investing the last 25 years in the paper and packaging segment. He has worked in woodlands, primary manufacturing, sales and sales management, marketing, business planning and communications, and three different assignments in product development. His expertise is available to you both through his blog and one on one conversations as an AICC member.
And of course, there is the education. All AICC offerings are specific to the needs of the independent at all stages of their growth. Webinars are great resources for training. seminars provide customized training. And, at AICC’s Packaging University, anyone can learn at their own pace, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. AICC’s on-line university offers you the ability to track your employee progress, validate their knowledge of the subject, and prove that you are providing training to keep your employees safe and ensure the health and stability of your company. The course scores each employee, and allows for your HR department to gauge where additional training may be needed, amount of time it took to complete the course, areas that may need more focus for individuals as well as for a group.
