AICC 2018 Mexico Meeting & Trade Fair: New Speakers Announced

AICC Mexico has reorganized its Annual Meeting with a new format that offers more programming and networking opportunities for attendees. The three-day program, held at Riu Plaza Guadalajara Hotel, Guadalajara, Mexico, runs from Wednesday, May 16 through Friday, May 18.

During the meeting Les Pickering will bring an updated program of the best practices for the performance and results of flexo-folder gluers, rotary die cutters, and digital printing machines.

Matt Elhardt, VP North America, Fisher International and Agustin Anaya of Papeles y Conversiones de Mexico will share insights about the containerboard industry. Other presentations include Lic Rafael Ramirez and Dr. Rodrigo de Leon, IPADE, and Oscar Vera Ferrer, consultant on Economic strategies about the political and economic challenges of Mexico. The meeting will also feature a panel about e-commerce and its impact on the corrugated industry with Mario Perez, Segunda Mano, and Randy Banks of Sharp International.

Ten industry suppliers will also present their latest innovations in the “Spotlight of Industry Innovations.”

All meeting participants will have the opportunity to visit Arizlu Empaque Inteligente, a local corrugator plant in Guadalajara.

The Trade Fair will involve more than 40 industry suppliers and provides a professional and educational environment for the key decision makers from independent box plants in Mexico.

The AICC Mexico Annual meeting will held in the beautiful city of Guadalajara, the second largest city in Mexico and a major Mexican business center. It is a city which celebrates both Mexico’s cultural traditions while embracing the new modern technology of today.
