![]() Cindy Huber, Director, Conventions & Meetings
Cindy has been with AICC since 2003. During her tenure she has developed the Spring and Fall conventions into must-attend industry events. Cindy has over 20 years’ experience in the convention and exposition industry. ![]() Virginia Humphrey, Director of Membership & Marketing
Virginia has been with AICC since 2012. She specializes in membership engagement and marketing. Prior to AICC Virginia managed special projects for Exponent Philanthropy, an association for small-staffed foundations. She holds a Masters of Science in Marketing from Johns Hopkins University. Pets- Otis, a black lab mix who is as smart as soup and Casey, a collie-chow mix too smart for her own good Fun Fact- I ate rat while in the Peace Corps. And I liked it. ![]() Laura Mihalick, Senior Meeting Manager
Laura joined the AICC team in January 2015. Prior to AICC, she worked in publishing, organizing five conferences a year along with handling the marketing and publicity plans for children's books. Originally from Western Pennsylvania and hailing from a family of independent grocers, banana boxes were her first introduction to corrugate. Fun Fact: Laura's favorite sports are hockey & tennis. Prior to AICC, Patrick worked within the hospitality industry as well as the tech sector. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management from Virginia Tech. Fun Fact: I love to travel. ![]() Taryn Pyle, Director of Training, Education & Professional Development
Taryn‘s career spans 25 years in Association Leadership. Her career at AICC began in 2001. She divides her time between building education programs through AICC’s Packaging University and creating AICC’s magazine BOXSCORE. Rebecca Rendon, Senior Manager, Education & Training
Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and Communications from Ball State University and her ongoing pursuit of a Certificate in Packaging Science from The Packaging School. Ralph has been associated with the AICC for 35 years, serving as our Technical Advisor for the last 12 years. He is globally known primarily as an expert in containerboard and corrugated packaging. For the Association, he is the author of ASKRalph blog, BoxScore articles, contributions to inBox, with participation in webinars and domestic and international meetings. Tom has 39 years of paperboard packaging experience. He is recognized by industry peers to be knowledgeable and well informed in all sales, marketing, and production processes, various types of paperboard and plastic converting equipment, and technically proficient in Leadership Training and Six Sigma/LEAN methodologies. He has managed multiple facilities in operations, run a regional business as General Manager, and successfully directed a privately held company as its President. Dr. Ellis is a leadership and process improvement specialist who serves on AICC’s faculty to assist in building the Packaging School curriculum. Scott has served as a resource for the development of individuals, teams, and organizations as a consultant, teacher, psychotherapist, coach, and general manager in the packaging industry for two decades.
