Craig Gast, Electrical Engineer
Craig Gast is an electrical engineer with 34 years of experience in the corrugated container industry, working with both independent and fully integrated corporations. His primary career focus has been to safely maximize asset up time
while maintaining a low cost of ownership.
Specializing in the maintenance and reliability elements of this industry, Craig has served as a Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Manager, Plant Engineer and Capital Projects Engineer.
Craig’s broad experience in the manufacturing processes includes, but is not limited to, Corrugation, Flexo Folder Gluers, Rotary Die Cut, Lithographs, Flat Bed Die Cutting, Litho Lamination, Sheeting and Folding Cartons.
In the facility leadership roles, aside from day to day department operations, he has implemented standardization maintenance processes, maintenance team, training programs and PM/PPM programs.
As a projects engineer he has worked extensively with major industry equipment manufacturers on the specification, purchase, integration, installation and training of process work centers.
Craig is a Navy veteran, serving in the submarine service after completing Nuclear Power School.
