White-Top Kraftliner Manufacturers Announcing Plans to Increase Prices

Some containerboard suppliers informed their European customers that they wanted to charge more for white-top kraftliner from September.

SCA has announced a price increase for white-top kraftliner of €50/t from 1 September. The increase was due for all markets, said the company.

Mondi Group informed its customers it wanted to raise prices for white-top kraftliner and semi-chemical fluting by €40/t from 1 September.

Other suppliers are expected to follow suit.
