Kodak Intends to Sell Packaging Division

Eastman Kodak announced its intention to sell its Flexographic Packaging Division last Thursday.

The division specializes in printing on packaging materials. Twenty of the division’s 300 employees work in Rochester, N.Y.

CEO Jeff Clark remarked that the division has performed well and its sale will allow Kodak to concentrate on growth areas.

Kodak reported second quarter earnings of $4 million with sales of $372 million - a decrease in nine million dollars compared to last year.
