Arcwise Strengthens Its Already Solid Position as the Key Patent-Holder and Licensor in Relation to Curved Shaped Corrugated Board Packaging

We are happy to announce that the Arcwise patent application WO2013141769 now has been granted in Europe. This patent, which is a part of an extensive and continuously growing patent portfolio, is now granted in 9 territories to the benefit of Arcwise® licensees and their customers.

The patent portfolio covers the material and its applications and also methods for erecting and filling of packaging. Hence, the patent portfolio provides protection at multiple parts of the value chain, which makes the intellectual property rights protection very solid. Brand owners that are buying packaging from a licensed manufacturer of Arcwise® material have the right to use the erecting and filling methods.
