Sales Teams Evolve with AICC

AICC, The Independent Packaging Association, welcomed 14 sales professionals to the W.H. Leary Headquarters October 23-24 in Tinley Park, IL for Sales Strategies for Today’s Market, an AICC seminar that encourages sales teams to evolve to continue to grow sales.

In an ever-changing market, sales strategies must change with the times. This seminar helped participants:

·         identify prospects that fit;

·         learn how to secure the first appointment;

·         develop strategies to maximize their time;

·         overcome the idea of commoditization.

The highlight for many in the seminar was when facilitator Kim Brown, explains how to become an expert for customers. She showed attendees key online tools they can use to understand the needs of specific industries like food & beverage, automotive, and cosmetics. Then, she explained how to leverage the information gathered to identify and understand the challenges potential customers face, giving attendees an edge over other sales professionals.

Kim Brown brings over 25 years of packaging industry experience, with a background in sales, sales management, marketing, and business development—for both the integrated and the independent. Kim founded Corrugated Strategies to assist the independent sector, addressing their challenges in today’s competitive market. Kim applies her sales experience, knowledge of the industry, and understanding of the market as it is today, to deliver relevant and current content, keeping participants engaged, and involved.
