December 13, 2018 – AICC, The Independent Packaging Association, recently completed Digital Technology for Corrugated, a two-part webinar series.

Seventy-four representatives of AICC member companies participated in the free webinar. The first in the series, The Advantages of Digital Technology in the Corrugated Industry, focused on insights into the consumer trends driving brand changes and challenges and how printer/converters can bring solutions. The final webinar, Moving into Digital Finishing in Corrugated, explained the benefits in digital finishing for the corrugated market, like stronger packages, reduced waste, larger profit margins, and the value of customization.

AICC will continue its digital education with Digital Xperience, a comprehensive conference on digital printing for the packaging industry, to be held February 26- March 1, 2019, at the Sheraton Charlotte Airport Hotel in Charlotte, NC. This conference will help folding carton, corrugated, and rigid box manufacturers find if, why, and how they can add digital into their infrastructure and build operations in-plant for digital success.

The Conference will feature 32 world-class speakers, more than 20 digital sessions, and plant tours at Complete Design and Packaging in Concord, NC, with an EFI Nozomi C18000, CompanyBox in Charlotte, NC, with an HP PageWide C500 Press, and Sonoco Display & Packaging, in Winston-Salem, NC, with a Barberan Jetmaster 1680.
