Bay Cities Opens New Pack Out Facility in Commerce

Bay Cities, North America’s most innovative packaging and design company, today announces the opening of its brand-new 90,628-square-foot pack out facility in Commerce, CA. The facility is in full operation and is already processing several programs. As the leading expert in pack out and fulfillment operations, this expansion signals continued growth for Bay Cities.

For more than 60 years, Bay Cities has been the leading creative packaging and display partner to brand marketers, retailers and e-commerce companies. With expanding offerings to serve brands and retailers, the need to increase speed to market and run multiple, wide-ranging programs at the same time has become crucial to the unparalleled success of Bay Cities’ customers.

The Commerce facility has 16 loading docks and offers around-the-clock security. The services that will be provided are:

• Pallet display pack out
• Full POP display pack out, kitting, rework, labeling, sorting and bundling
• Blister, cold seal, heat and IR sealing
• Assembly for products, packaging and displays

The Commerce facility will be certified and licensed for AIB (American Institute of Baking), ABC (Alcoholic Beverage Control), FDA (Federal Drug Administration), California Department of Public Health – Certified Organic, Processed Food, Pharmaceutical Wholesale Drug Permit and USDA Organic.

With the addition of the Commerce facility, Bay Cities’ facilities now consist of 650,000 square feet of combined space, over 96 loading docks and over 20 production lines.
