Georgia-Pacific’s Harmon Recycling is changing its name to Georgia-Pacific Recycling. The change more directly reflects that the recycling business is an integrated part of a large, stable and respected organization, according to the company.
Georgia-Pacific Recycling maintains its headquarters in Jericho, N.Y., and operates six recycling centers in the U.S. The business was acquired by Georgia-Pacific in 2000 and, until now, has continued to operate under the Harmon name.
