AICC Members invited to the UK Sheet Plant Association’s 99th Conference in Liverpool

The Sheet Plant Association of the UK is inviting AICC members to attend the group’s 99^th conference, June 24-25, in Liverpool, England.  The meeting is taking place concurrently with the UK Corrugated & Print Show 2019 at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool.  The Sheet Plant Association (SPA) is the UK’s only association representing independent corrugated converters and folding carton makers.  The UK Corrugated & Print Show 2019 is a joint effort of the SPA and FESPA, the European specialty printing association.

AICC members are encouraged to arrive in Liverpool over the weekend of June 22-23.  SPA is organizing what they are calling a “mini Ryder Cup” golf tournament on Sunday, June 23, at the Royal Birkdale Club. On Monday, June 24, AICC and SPA members will hold a concurrent session to discuss issues affecting the industry in both countries, then attend the Corrugated & Print Show in the afternoon.  A gala dinner will be held on the evening of Monday, June 24, for all attendees.

On Tuesday, June 25, members will tour two nearby sheet plants:  The Corrugated Cardboard Company, Ltd., and Western Corrugated Case Company.
