June 5, 2019 – AICC, The Independent Packaging Association, trained 12 finance and packaging professionals during School for Financial Managers and Controllers, May 21-22, 2019, at AICC member W.H. Leary’s headquarters in Tinley Park, IL.
Taught by Mitch Klingher, CPA, Partner, Klingher Nadler, LLP, this popular seminar used case studies to highlight issues designed to give senior management a better understanding of a company’s financial strategy.
Attendees reviewed situations at several fictional companies, including ABC Sheet Plant, Browncorr, and Crown Jewel Enterprises, participants discussed traditional financial reporting, contribution-based reporting, issues specific to service-oriented manufacturing companies, the economics of paper and corrugated, and many other topics critical to the success of corrugated manufacturing companies.
Tom Murphy, Director of Marketing, Reliable Container, said “Mitch covered some key areas on cost and profit center breakdowns and converting tonnage in MF. There was so much to learn and absorb that I wish we had more time.”
The host location, W.H. Leary, a manufacturer of automatic glue application equipment, also offered an educational tour to seminar participants.
Participants also earned up to 15 hours of CPE Credits for this seminar.
