Hood Container Corporation announced today that Greg Hall, a Containerboard and Packaging industry veteran, will join the company as Senior Vice President of its corrugated packaging converting division, Stronghaven Incorporated.
Greg will be responsible for the performance of Stronghaven‘s corrugated packaging, display, design, graphics, contract packaging and fulfillment operations throughout the United States. Charlie Hodges, President and Chief Operating Officer of Hood Container Corporation added “We are fortunate to be able to attract talented individuals, like Greg, to our company as we continue in our goal to excel as a leading independent manufacturer of containerboard and corrugated packaging products. We continue to realize the benefits of our acquired converting assets and we know that Greg’s background and experience will only enhance the value of Stronghaven’s operations to Hood Container Corporation.”
“Greg has a long history in the Containerboard and Packaging industry, and, as mentioned above, has held key leadership roles for both Orange County Container Group and Smurfit Kappa. Under his leadership, Greg significantly increased converted product sales and led the successful acquisition and integration of multiple sheet plant and corrugated plant operations. Greg’s significant impact on Smurfit Kappa’s North American operations made him a logical candidate to lead Stronghaven.”
Greg will be located in the company’s Atlanta, Georgia corporate headquarters beginning October 1, 2019.
