Greif to Cease Operations at Paper Machine 1 at Mobile, Alabama Mill

Oct. 15, 2019 – Greif, Inc. (NYSE: GEF, GEF.B), a global leader in industrial packaging products and services, today announced that it is ceasing operations at its Number 1 paperboard machine at the Mobile Paperboard Mill in Mobile, Alabama. The Number 2 paperboard machine will continue to operate normally. This action will help to reduce the Mobile Mill’s ongoing operating costs and capital needs.
