Know What You Sell

January 22, 2020 – AICC, The Independent Packaging Association, is offering three training opportunities that will give sales professionals a deeper understanding of corrugated, which allows them to sell more effectively: Selling Digital Print, Digital Printing for Brown Box Markets, and Corrugated Packaging Essentials.

Selling Digital Print, being held February 5-6, in Bentonville, AR, will give attendees basic knowledge of digital printing techniques, and applications for those technologies in normal selling channels and well as new ways to open up more business. Participants will also learn how to advance the sale past the packaging buyers and reach brand managers. The member registration fee for this seminar is $1,295.

Attendees will learn from instructors Leslie Pickering, Co-Owner, Quadrant5, and John Ballentine, Co-Founder, Tango Press, LLC.

Digital Printing for Brown Box Markets, a webinar, being held on February 13, is a new offering for AICC members. The webinar will explain the value digital printing brings to brown box makers today, offer a comparison of digital printing to flexo post printing for brown boxes, including cost, efficiency, and quality, and the future of inkjet printing for corrugated brown box makers. Registration for this webinar is $100 and is valid for the entire plant. 

Stu Brownell, Director of Corrugated Applications, Digital Print Incorporated, will lead this webinar. 

An AICC staple, Corrugated Packaging Essentials, being held March 11-12, at Standfast Packaging, in Carol Stream, IL, gives sales professionals an in-depth understanding of corrugated packaging technologies. Attendees will analyze various packaging solutions, examine the performance attributes of containerboard and corrugated board, including appearance, printability, and runability. This knowledge will help sales professionals better understand the needs of their customers and how to exceed their expectations. Those registering on or before January 28 will receive the early bird rate of $895.

Attendees will learn from Dan Malenke, President, PKGPRO, LLC and Ralph Young, Corrugated Technical Advisor, AICC, The Independent Packaging Association. 

These programs will give sales professionals an increased understanding of the materials they sell and how to best support their customers.
