Sun Automation Co-Founder, Lou Sardella Passes Away

Lou Sardella, who co-founded Sun Automation along with his business partner Pat O’Connor, and who subsequently served as Chairman and CEO of the company, passed away at his home in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, on 21st January, 2020. He was 73.

Chris Kyger, President of Sun Automation said, “In the era of rapidly changing corrugated industry requirements, Lou was acknowledged by his peers and the industry at large to have been an extraordinary engineer, enlightened inventor and talented entrepreneur. His legacy includes the development and marketing of industry-leading feeding, printing, and die-cutting technology, and folding equipment."

Sardella is survived by his friends Pat & Nancy O’Connor, Tatiana Alvarez, as well as many friends, colleagues and family members.
