On February 12, AF&PA staff and eight-members of AF&PA’s Board of Directors met with Vice President Pence to discuss policy priorities. The group explained how the paper and wood products industry is a renewable, green energy industry and expressed appreciation for tax reform, the passage of USMCA, and regulatory reform efforts. The meeting was well-received by the Vice President, who noted the importance of the industry to the U.S. economy.
