We are excited to share with you that today is a very special and watershed moment for all of us at U.S. Corrugated,Inc., its subsidiaries, and affiliated companies because we are embarking on a new era by integrating two independent companies, one in the paper industry: McKinley Paper Company and the other in the packaging industry: U.S. Corrugated, Inc.
The integration of these two organizations is designed to create a fully integrated paper and packaging company with a vertically aligned network of paper mills, box plants, sheet plants and an efficient distribution network in the United States and the maquiladora region in Mexico.
McKinley Paper Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bio PAPPEL, operates two paper mills one of which is located in Prewitt, New Mexico, and the second in the state of Washington.
Today U.S. Corrugated, Inc., becomes a fully integrated packaging company which operates a network of modern corrugated industrial Alpha-Box Plants in Southern California, Georgia, Indiana and a planned Northeastern expansion. Our new organization also boasts an Alpha-Box Plant in Mexicali and a full-service sheet plant in Tijuana, both strategically located along the US-Mexican border in Mexico.
By melding both company’s cultures, values, skilled workforces, and assets the result will be a nimble and forward-thinking organization that is focused on its people and its customers. We are confident that our operational excellence coupled with our best-known management practices will create a world class company.
We are forever grateful for the loyalty our customers continue to exhibit and we look forward to continuing to provide both our current customers, and potential new ones, with best-in-class manufacturing and outstanding customer service.
