W. H. Leary Company - Chris Leary Joining Gietz, as President of Its North American Division

[Tinley Park, IL, March 4, 2021] W. H. Leary Company would like to announce that Chris Leary will be pursuing a new opportunity with Gietz, as President of its North American division. This transition will occur during Q1 2021. Gietz is a fourth-generation, family-owned, Swiss company that sells machinery to the paperboard industry. This position enables Chris to continue serving the same market with no conflict of interest to Leary or its customers and presents new responsibilities and challenges for him.

Chris has provided a great deal of support and leadership to W. H. Leary for more than twenty years and we are thankful for his passion and service to our organization. While we will miss Chris, we wish him the best in this new position! T

o ensure that we have a smooth transition and maintain superior service and support to our products and customers, Jeff Bates, Key Account Manager, will be serving as the National Sales Manager over Leary North America. Jeff has been with Leary since 2004 and has served and excelled in multiple positions of increasing responsibilities in both field support and sales. Jeff will report directly to Kevin Leary, President/CEO. All European sales will continue to be coordinated by Andrew Sims, Managing Director over the Leary European Division, W. H. Leary LTD.

Additionally, Gerardo Avelar, our Channel Sales Director over Mexico and Latin America, will continue his responsibilities over pre and post sales activities in this territory.
