RISI reports more support for price increases on US boxboard solid bleached sulfate (SBS) effective in April emerged the past week with new support from Clearwater Paper, Sappi North America, and Metsä Board. The increases include SBS folding carton and cupstock and foodservice grades, and follows earlier increase announcements by other producers on SBS and coated recycled paperboard (CRB), according to customer letters obtained by Fastmarkets. These increases have been in the range of $50 - $60 per ton.
