Paper and Packaging Board Is Accepting Nominations for 2025 Board

The Paper and Packaging Board (P+PB) is seeking nominees for three open board seats in the following regions: one from the South* and two from the Rest of the U.S. Each of the board seats has a three-year term that begins on January 1, 2025, and ends on December 31, 2027.

P+PB is seeking three experienced industry members who can bring deep industry knowledge to the board’s deliberations and represent a range of product sectors including containerboard, paperboard, kraft and printing, writing paper and office paper. Additionally, the board encourages the nomination of diverse candidates including women, minorities, ethnicities and cultures who can bring different perspectives and ideas to the board’s deliberations and discussions.

Nominations start April 15, 2024, and run through May 24, 2024. All nominations are submitted to USDA and the Secretary of Agriculture appoints new board members by the end of 2024.

*The definition of the South is Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia. The remaining states make up the “Rest of the U.S.” region designation.
