Liberty Diversified International Honors First Responders

Liberty Diversified International (LDI) was proud to sponsor Heroes Among Us: A Celebration of First Responders, a special event honoring the brave men and women who dedicate themselves to serving our communities 24/7, 365 days a year. This private celebration took place at Nickelodeon Universe, Mall of America®, on Sunday, February 2, with exclusive access to the park until noon. 

As a gesture of gratitude, first responders and their families received complimentary wristbands granting them unlimited rides at Nickelodeon Universe for the entire day. They were served breakfast and received backpacks filled with treats and discounts throughout the mall. The purpose of this family-friendly event was to recognize not only the sacrifices of first responders but also the crucial role their families play in supporting them.

 “We owe so much to our first responders, who put their own safety on the line to protect ours," said Mike Fiterman, Chairman and Owner of LDI. “This event was our way of saying thank you—both to the heroes themselves and to their families, who are an essential part of their journey. It was time to celebrate and honor the immense impact they have on our communities.” 

First responders often face thankless challenges and difficult situations. Through Heroes Among Us, LDI wanted to give these everyday heroes and their loved ones the recognition, appreciation, and fun-filled day they deserved.
