group is designed to serve managers of all departments. The group is
open to all member companies regardless of location or market niche. You
will be part of a group marked by mutual trust, sharing of best
practices and respectful disagreement, for the advancement of each
member company’s success, productivity and for group members’ career
development.
Managers
in every department can slip into the trap of becoming the “Compliance
Sheriff” losing effectiveness and joy in the role. Regardless of the
department in which we serve, we all want to improve personal and team
results.
This Group is Intended:
- To equip problem solvers to become problem preventers.
- To provide methods for growing problem solving, planning and project management skills.
- To foster those same skills in your team.
- To share best practices for continuous improvement.
- To receive coaching, collaboration, and better follow through on proactiveness.
- To help you build a culture of continuous improvement.

Rules of Engagement:
The group will adopt its own specific rules of engagement beyond these non-negotiables;
- It will operate in compliance with Antitrust Guidelines.
- All discussions and meeting content is confidential.
- Participant's
company’s senior manager will be informed of the participating
companies. If they object, they will have the right to withdraw before
the first meeting with a full refund.
Schedule Includes:
- Nine
(9) online meetings will be held during the year and will include
leadership and process improvement topics of interest, member reports on
progress toward goals, and sharing of best practices.
- One
destination meeting will be scheduled to visit an exemplary
manufacturing facility and may include presentations by topical experts.
This will be 1 1/2 to 2 days in length.
- Facilitator coaching will be available throughout the year.

Scott has served as a resource for the development of individuals, teams, and organizations as a
consultant,
teacher, psychotherapist, coach, and general manager. His pragmatic
approach and demeanor are shaped as much by his years laboring in lumber
mills and construction as they have been in the boardroom and the
university. Scott’s manufacturing experience in recent decades has
primarily focused on the packaging industry.
How Do I Join?

There is no cost to apply. If accepted
into a group, a fee of $1,800 is paid annually. The fee covers all facilitator costs and nine online meetings annually. (Hotel and
travel expenses are always the responsibility of each attendee).
- We
take confidentiality seriously. Each member must sign an agreement
before joining to keep all shared information confidential.
- Your company must be an AICC member in good standing, with all membership dues current.
