AICC is pleased to present its 12th Independent Packaging Association Sales Compensation Survey. This survey was conducted during 2021 and updates the most comprehensive survey of key sales compensation and benefits being paid by independent corrugator plants and independent sheet plants in the United States. Additional questions about the COVID-19 pandemic were added to this year’s survey to get a sense of how companies and sales employees are handling the situation.

This report is based on data from 62 independent corrugator and sheet plants. These companies employ nearly 5,700 full-time employees spread across all U.S. regions. In aggregate, these plants sold approximately $2.1 billion of corrugated products in 2020. All responses to this survey were collected and compiled by Association Research, Inc., Gaithersburg, Maryland, and have been held in strictest confidence. None of the data received have been seen by any AICC member or staff member.
