The 3rd Edition of this valuable AICC publication covers the latest rules and regulations for paperboard containers manufacturer for shipment and protection of hazardous materials.

This hazardous materials guide was developed to give independent sheet and corrugator plants a basic understanding of U.S. hazardous materials laws and regulations [HMR]. It includes some useful information concerning Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) in other countries, and the International Modal DGR (Air and Sea shipment); but cannot go into any depth on those topics. It is not meant to be, nor can be, fully comprehensive. This booklet is intended for fiberboard plants that perform only fabrication/conversion functions in making boxes and inserts, at the direction of their customers; and do not perform any functions associated with testing and certifying hazardous materials packagings.
