Robert A. Morgan passed away peacefully at his home in Benicia, CA on Saturday morning. He was born in Garfield Heights, Ohio and was raised in the Midwest. Bob graduated from Saint Mary’s College in Winona, Minnesota, where he also met the love of his life, Donna. They moved to Benicia in 1985 where they continued to grow and raise their beloved family. Bob worked at George Martin Company for over 35 years. He started in a sales role and, with undeniable leadership qualities and dedication, moved up to become the President of the company for many years. He was relentlessly hard working and passionate about making the company successful. He retired in 2019, finally able to enjoy the fruits of his labor. Bob was proud of building a successful business and enjoyed staying busy washing his cars, taking care of the yard, and checking items off his never-ending “honey-do-list” around the house, which Donna happily replenished. But his true love was for his family, an everything centered around that. Bob cherished spending as much time as he could with his family and loved spending time in his second home in Truckee, CA, creating lasting memories with his family going to the lake, summer concerts, and trips in the snow. He looked forward to the annual Morgan family vacation in Palm Desert in the springtime, surrounded by his wife, kids, and grandchildren. He was a notable history buff—with a special love for World War II—who enjoyed reading any kind of history book he could get his hands on. If you had a question, Bob probably had the answer. Bob will be remembered as someone who was selfless and always focused on making everyone around him happy and cared for. He is survived by Donna, his wife of almost 50 years; son Robert “Bobby” (Jessica) Morgan III; daughters Samantha (Andy) Freeman and Brittany (Justin) Pebet; sisters Sharon (Jerry) Weiland and Deborah Solan; brother Craig (Darlene) Morgan; and his grandchildren Malia, Maddie, Macie, Dillon, Sienna, Sloane, and Sutton. Catholic Prayer Service will be held Monday, March 3rd at St. Dominic’s Church. Burial will be private at St. Dominic’s Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Passalacqua Funeral Chapel, Benicia. Burial will be private at St. Dominic’s Cemetery.
